When Does JJYL Start?

Similar to last season:

  • 3rd–8th grade programs will begin in early March

  • K–2 programs will begin later in March

The board is in the final stages of confirming practice schedules for all groups. We understand certain days may present conflicts. If your Middle or Elementary School has known events, please email info@JJYL.org. While we will do our best to accommodate schedules, we appreciate your understanding of the challenges involved in balancing availability for all players.

Uniform Information

  • Boys & Girls (3rd–8th Grade):
Players will use the same uniforms as last season. Please ensure your child still has their reversible and shorts and that they fit properly. If replacements or size changes are needed, they may be purchased through the John Jay Team Store via Lacrosse Unlimited.

  • 2nd Grade:
Families are required to purchase the uniform kit (sublimated jersey and shorts) through the John Jay Team Store.

  • Kindergarten & 1st Grade:
JJYL will provide a reversible jersey at the first practice.

The team store also offers optional John Jay Lacrosse apparel and accessories.
When ordering, families will be asked to select first and second choice jersey numbers. Please note that numbers are assigned by JJYL and cannot be guaranteed.
